These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the browser-based game "Race to the Stars" and its associated website (the "Game"). The Game is owned and operated by RICCHAI SERVICES LTD, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16343492), located at 4 Buckingham Mansions, 353 West End Lane, London, United Kingdom, NW6 1LR.
By creating an account, accessing the Game, or purchasing virtual items, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these rules, you must not play the Game or use our services. Your use of the Game is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, store, and protect your personal data. 2.1. To access features like multiplayer, campaigns, and the premium store, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate personal and billing information, including your name, email, and country of residence.
2.2. You are responsible for keeping your account password secure. You are liable for all activities and purchases made under your account.
2.3. Accounts are strictly personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, trade, or share your account with any third party.
3.1. The Game features in-game currencies (such as Credits, Stardust, and Plasma) and virtual items (such as Card Packs, Skins, and Backgrounds) available for purchase via our Premium Store.
3.2. All payments are processed securely in Euros (EUR) or your local equivalent by licensed third-party Payment Service Providers (PSPs), such as Katarun. RICCHAI SERVICES LTD does not store your full credit card or payment data.
3.3. Virtual currencies and items have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for fiat currency, withdrawn, or transferred outside the Game environment.
4.1. By purchasing virtual currency, card packs, or bundles, you explicitly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital content.
4.2. Because the digital content is made available to you immediately upon successful payment, you acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under UK and EU consumer protection laws.
4.3. Purchases are strictly non-refundable, except where the digital content is fundamentally defective or where refunds are mandated by applicable law. Subjective dissatisfaction with randomized items (e.g., contents of Card Crates) does not qualify for a refund. Where a refund is approved, it will be processed and credited back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
5.1. "Race to the Stars" relies on competitive integrity. You agree to play fairly and respectfully.
5.2. You are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following actions:

6.1. All game content—including starship designs, card artwork, lore, sound effects, UI layouts, and software code—is the exclusive intellectual property of RICCHAI SERVICES LTD.
6.2. We grant you a limited, revocable, personal license to access and display this content solely for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our assets without explicit written permission.
7.1. The Game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted server uptime, lag-free gameplay, or absolute bug-free experiences.
7.2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RICCHAI SERVICES LTD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of digital progress, lost virtual items, or temporary server outages. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.
7.3. Our total aggregate liability relating to any dispute is strictly limited to the total amount you spent on the Game in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure is caused by events completely beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, widespread internet outages, severe cyberattacks, natural disasters, acts of war, or sudden changes in government regulations.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms to reflect changes in our gameplay mechanics, business operations, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and notify you via email or through a prominent in-game announcement before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Game after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10.1. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any legal disputes arising from your use of the Game shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless local mandatory consumer protection laws grant you the right to a different venue.
